Martin is the Insurance Marketing Specialist in the Financial Planning Support department at H.D. Vest. He provides specialized technical and marketing support for H.D. Vest Representatives in life insurance, annuities, long-term care and disability insurance. Martin also works closely with the internal and external wholesalers of our insurance companies to coordinate marketing services. Martin joined H.D. Vest in '98 and is licensed as a general securities representative, general securities principal, life and health insurance agent, variable insurance products agent, and Investment Adviser Representative. He also holds Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. Martin received his bachelor of business administration degree in finance from West Texas A&M University . |

| KATHLEEN
O’DANIA, MBA, CFP®, CFS, CSA |
Kathleen is responsible for overseeing strategic development and advanced marketing as program manager of Estate Planning Services at H.D. Vest. Kathleen consults with Advisors nationwide—solving estate, trust, and investment planning problems, and providing technical analysis and solutions for individual clients and small business owners. She also designs educational materials and conducts training seminars for Advisors and internal staff, helping them to build their technical knowledge and marketing skills. An accomplished public speaker, Kathleen presents financial seminars to professional and special interest groups in the community. Prior to joining H.D. Vest in 1991, Kathleen practiced comprehensive investment planning with IDS Financial Services/American Express. She also managed a $30 million municipal treasury and pension fund as deputy controller for the City of Temple, Texas. Kathleen holds a master of business administration degree from Baylor University and undergraduate degrees in communications and economics. She is a Certified Financial Planner®, a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). |

| JARED W. FORD, CFS, CAS, RIS |
Jared Ford specialized in insurance planning and strategy at H.D. Vest. He started in the Recruiting Department in 2006 working with potential advisors and helping them see the impact they could have in their clients’ lives by adding financial services to their current practice. He moved to Financial Planning Support and then to his insurance specialist position. Jared’s licenses include Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, property and casualty insurance, and life and health insurance. He also holds the Certified Fund Specialist, Certified Annuity Specialist and Retirement Income Annuity designations. Jared received his bachelor of science in industrial distribution engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station. |

| LIZ A. PACE |
Liz Pace in an Insurance Specialist in the marketing division of H.D. Vest. Her focus within the Financial Planning Support department is to provide training, education, support and product positioning for life insurance, long-term care and disability insurance. Liz’s career in the financial services industry started more than six years ago with American Express Financial Advisors where she built a book of business as a Financial Advisor. She later moved her career to Smith Barney as a Financial Consultant, where she received certification in their Guided Portfolio Management program. She began working at H.D. Vest in the Recruiting Department where she was named Recruiter of the Year. She moved to her new position as an Insurance Specialist in 2007. Liz is licensed as a general securities representative, life and health agent and variable insurance products agent. She is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner designation. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. |

Manager, Insurance Services
Kim is responsible for all back office operations, including licensing, processing, customer service, and tele-underwriting, and works closely with the insurance marketing staff and our sponsors to maintain the highest level of service for licensed advisors. In addition to her work for H.D. Vest, Kim remains active in the insurance industry, recently serving two terms as National President for the Association of Life and Health Administrators. |

Whether you are getting a license for the first time, adding a nonresident license, or needing an appointment with a new carrier, licensing services can assist you with the process. They will consult with advisors on the licensing process, process paperwork, and work with our key insurance carriers to get you licensed and appointed as soon as possible so you can begin helping your clients with their risk management and annuity needs.

Service / Processing Support |
Our processing group carefully reviews all applications they receive to minimize underwriting delays for your clients and orders any necessary medical exams. They also work with the underwriting team as the policy moves through the approval and placement process, with aggressive goals for closing cases. Case status can be viewed on your CSL log and questions, concerns, and additional information can be relayed to the underwriting team via the same system. In addition to new policies, the customer service team is here to help you with existing policies, commission questions, and account record changes for life, disability, and long term care policies.

| Tele-underwriting
Support |
Our tele-underwriters are here to contact your client and complete all the paperwork required to apply for a policy, freeing up your time to consult with more clients. Because they are extremely familiar with both the paperwork and the underwriting process, our approval time using this service are improved. They also order medical exams and work with the underwriting team at the insurance carrier to ensure a fast turnaround with the best possible outcome for your client.
